About Us

Small & Sustainable

Founded in 2014, we are a small family farm near Lake Superior in the Western Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Our animals are pasture-raised using sustainable practices that maximize both their quality of life as well as the purity of their fiber and meat.  Our vegetables are old-time heirloom varieties not treated with pesticides or synthetic fertilizers, just aged manure from the animals.  Our grapes are five varieties selected to tolerate the cold, moist climate and short growing season of the Northern Great Lakes Region. Please don't hesitate to drop us a line to learn more!

Environmental Responsibility

In fall 2015, we become Environmentally Verified for our Farmstead System, Cropping System and Livestock System through the Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program. Verification certifies that we are voluntarily preventing and mitigating environmental pollution risks.
